Looking up

I didn't get the job I went for last week. I was upset. I felt knocked.

But then another opportunity came along. I was interviewed. I liked it there. I'm waiting for the outcome.

A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her

  5. My thoughts are with you. You cannot beat yourself up over the job thing - I have some brilliant, hard-working, well-connected friends who have been out of work for over a year - 3,000 applications for every 1 job - this is NOT about you not being good enough! You are fabulous and things will fall into place soon, I just know it.

  16. I hope you get good news soon, my friend. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, so I'm sure your perfect job is waiting for you. I know it's so easy to say 'be patient' and a lot harder to do, so I won't say it. But, take heart that you'll find your spot (no pun intended... Saskia's spot!)
