This weekend Mr B and I went to
Hidden in the leaves,
Shielded from the park.
But not from the weather.
If you ever get the chance, go.
But take your brolly.
You will probably get rained on.
We did.
But that's what makes it extra special.
We saw The Crucible.
It was awesome.
Thought provoking.
It made me grateful
that I'm believed,
that I don't have to proove anything to anyone.
I love theater in the park. How fun, even if it did rain. The Crucible is a great book so I imagine it's a great play too. Glad you had a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like fun! They do plays in the park here in Boston too, I might have to check them out this summer :)
ReplyDeleteoh it looks so dreamy! what a great summer activity.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! But I have to know what a brolly is?!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely way to spend a weekend day! I took my mom to see the Mary Poppins Musical this weekend -- it was wonderful (although not outside -- Florida is not very outside friendly right now between the storms and heat).
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had so much fun! I want to go there now... if only. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I haven't thought about that book since I read it in school. I bet it's amazing on stage!
ReplyDeletesounds like you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteThe green in those trees is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see theater in the park unfortunately we don't have it! You are so lucky...maybe it's why rain always...to balance it!
ReplyDeletethat's how I want to be like!! Forever young, and forever random :)
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in your photos :)
I agree with Emily...dreamy
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous!!! What a fun time!!! I wish we had something like that close to us. :) XOXO
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos my dear! To be believed in... what a chance, what a blessing, what a wonderful gift of life! Cherish that someone. Hug him, kiss him, tell him how wonderful he is. Just like you are.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I should be coming to London later this summer... yay!
I haven't read/seen the Crucible since high school, but I know exactly what you mean about being grateful for living when and where we do.
ReplyDeleteHooray for rainy climates! And for your gorgeous photos.

That sounds like the perfect place for a theatre. I'm glad you had fun! I'll have to add this to my list of places to go.
ReplyDeleteThe Crucible is my favorite play of all time. To read or see!
ReplyDeleteMiss your blog face!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time! I wish there were more places like that around here!
ReplyDeleteLooks enchanting! :) And...brolly...is that an umbrella?? haha, just taking a guess!
