Oh how I wish I was a cat

Normally I feed the Meesh after I've had a shower and have been awake long enough to use my hands, open my eyes and hopefully know what day of the week it is. This normally takes me quite a while. Until I give her breakfast she is impossible. She trips me up by skipping about under my feet, she mieows so loudly and continuously that I have considered using my F1 earplugs and of course she has perfected the big-I'm-the-cat-from-Shrek-look which I always give in to.

This morning Mr B fed Meisha before I woke up. What a heavenly morning I had! No cat to trip over! No shrill shreeky mieows! No big eyes making me feel guilty!

But Meisha had an even better morning. After eating her fill at 6:15am she was sprawled out, sound asleep by 7am.

Now that's the life I'd like.

  1. How wonderful for both you and Meisha. I agree...being a cat or a dog would be fabulous!!! Maybe we can all just pretend for one day. :) XOXO

  3. I agree! Sometimes I look at Matilda and get jealous. Her days are spent sleeping in the sun and playing in the yard. Could it get any better than that?!?!

  8. Meisha is so gorgeous . . .

Thankfully none of my pets are too big on breakfast. Whew! Except my foster Mr. Comfrey - the rabbit. Now he'll really start banging his dishes if he isn't fed early. Silly babies . .

  9. you and i must have twin cats. you can't get anything accomplished in the morning til Ace has been fed. most mornings, the mr. feeds him before i get up, so he stays comatose while i'm getting ready. but on those mornings that the mr. doesn't feed him? i can't take a shower, brush my teeth, or get dressed without him weaving between my legs and meowing. oh to be a cat...

  10. Just the thing to brighten my day. Cheeto does the same. for some reason he thinks he needs to eat at 5 am. he comes and sits on my face until i wake up to feed him, sometimes he nibbles my nose.
