I just talked to my dad yesterday who was a photography guru in the 70's (said the Minolta was one of the best) -- Anyhow, told him (b/c you've inspired me) that I wanted to use one of his old cameras and have him teach me some techniques -- He said he would, but that going from digital to film would be like going from driving a car to riding a bike everywhere (point taken, but I still want to try!)
CONGRATS ON YOUR DIGITAL! You'll be taking pix and before you know it, you'll have like 400 on your camera! Can't wait to see pix from Venice!
